Happiness

Happiness is a kind of enjoyment feeling. Everyone has different explanation about it; also each person has different feeling about things. For some people, buy a beautiful cloth or get a call from their lovers, they feel very happy. For some people, they think those things are too small, they do not feel happy. For them, just the big events can made them feel happy, such as find a good job, win Super 7……
Therefore, we know that everyone has their own ways to get happy, and enjoy their life. However, whatever the way is, happiness really play a very important role in our life.

Does the school bus safe?

Have you ever thought about the safety about school bus ?Maybe lots of people will say no, because they do not have kids in their home. However, now many of the school kids' parents worry about this problem a lot.

There were some school buses' additents made lots of parents begin to worry about their kids safety. There were not too much but still let them at least feel not good, therefore,
some of them opt to drive their kids themselevs rather than entrust them to a school bus.One
of the reasons they think school bus is not safe, beacuse school buses do not have seat belts.
Usually, in the whole world, when people begin to study or test driveing ,they will know they must use seat belts every time, even you are not driver but if you by car you should use seat belts ,too. However, nowdays most of school buses do not have seat belts. There are some reasons why school bus desginers did not put them in school buses. As we all know, now the population is growing so fast ,more and more children should take it ,but the cost of the school bus is expensive, therefore ,they need each school bus can take more children. However, if they add the seat belts inside school buses, it will reduce the numbers of seat in each buses. As a result, nowdays almost school buses do not have seat belts.

However, does the seat belts really is the mainly reason caused so many accidents? The answer is no .From the reaseah,we know that lots of kids died in accidents were not because seat belts. 31% of students die while boarding or getting off the bus, and also some of them died being driven by their parents, riding bicycles and walking.

In my opinion, the school bus should have seat belts, because it is really important to keep safety to kids. Even it is expensive but it is worth because everyone just has one life. If we know it is dangerous why we do our best to protect ourselves instead of lose life.
Also, as parents, they should not worry it too much, it is really happen but not everyday, every school bus, therefore, instead of worry and drive kids themselves, they should to
teach kids how to protect themselves.

My opinion about skyscrapers

Nowadays, more and more skyscrapers appear in our world. In addition, those skyscrapers are more higher than the old one, it likes a competition about the height of buildings. However, when we see these great views of them, there are some debates about should we encourage or stop to build skyscrapers. In my opinion, I strongly believe that we should not stop to build skyscrapers because they can really help us especially in the future, and also bring some benefits to us.
Have you ever been to one of the skyscrapers to enjoy the great view ? It is really great. When I was 9 years old I went to the highest skyscrapers in my city ,it was a TV tower, when I saw the great views I said: So cool! Until now I can remember that feeling of happy, surprise……I think not only me had this experience also lots of people. Therefore, it becomes the first reason why we should build these kinds of skyscrapers, because it can be a place we can enjoy our life!
Also, it can urge the development of technology of build .As we all know ,we can build such great skyscrapers because we have the wonderful techniques of build. Like I said before ,now it likes a competition, so if they want to build more greater one they need to find more great methods to finish it, such as the more faster lifts, and also need to find out the protections of
lots of problems ,for examples, earthquake ,fire and powerful strong wind.
The most important reason I agree to build skyscrapers because I think it is the best solution of the fast growing population in our world. The fast growing of population is the one of the most serious problems in our world now, and although our earth looks very large but there is only a few lands can let humans live, because lots of places are oceans. Therefore, we must find a good solution to use the limited land let more humans live. Now, we can say congratulations to ourselves, architects find the best solution to solve this problem by building super high skyscrapers. All of those high buildings can use less land but let more people work and live in.
Maybe some of you will say skyscrapers can bring the negative effects to us, such as over spend or others negative effects on economic, however, in fact, those skyscrapers make our markets more prosperity. First of all, build the super size of building needs the huge numbers of the material ,and usually it needs allover the world markets to supply to it, therefore, all of the world’s economic can come up. Also, many of people are interested about the new thing, therefore, if the new highest building appears in our world, it can allure more people to visit it. As a result, it can let lots of different trades more prosperity, such as hotels, airplane companies, and also let more people have jobs.
In my opinions, everything has 2 sides, when they think about should we keep it or stop it, we should think about which side effects have more values to us. Therefore, focus on those reasons I think we should not abolish skyscrapers at least.

-
Taipei 101 is the world's tallest building, surpassing the height of the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur in late August 2003.
-
Taipei 101 holds the world record in three of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat's height categories: tallest to the structural top, tallest to the roof, and highest occupied floor.
-
The outdoor observation deck is the highest in the world. It is expected to be surpassed by the outdoor deck in the Shanghai World Financial Center.
-
This was the first world's tallest building completed in the 21st century. The next will most likely be Burj Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
-
The 89th floor holds an indoor observation area, and an outdoor observation deck is located on the 91st floor.
-
Taipei 101 is the first and currently only building in the world to break the half-kilometer mark in height.
-
The highest section of the spire was installed on 9 October 2003. At the official ceremony on 17 October, Taipei's mayor Ma Ying-Jeou fastened a golden bolt to signify the official topping-out.
-
Before the spire was installed there was a separate topping-out ceremony on July 1st, 2003 for completion to the roof level. The president of Taiwan and the mayor of Taipei participated in the event.
-
An 800-ton tuned mass damper helps stabilize the tower in high winds and earthquakes. This damper is an enormous ball of welded steel plates hanging inside the top of the building, and is visible from the restaurant and bar which encircles the space around the ball.
-
The design is inspired by traditional Chinese architecture, with a shape resembling a pagoda. The sectioned tower is also inspired by the bamboo plant, which is a model of strength, resilience, and elegance.
-
The tower's design specifications are based on the number "8", a lucky number in traditional Chinese culture; it features 8 upward-flaring sections, and is supported by 8 supercolumns. The Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai also employs this numerology in its design.
-
Most aspects of the design, layout and planning were reviewed and approved by a Feng Shui master.
-
The elevators are the fastest in the world, rising at 1008 meters per minute (60.48 km/hour) and descending at 610 m/min (36.6 km/hour). The top speeds are 34 percent faster than the previous world's fastest elevators in Yokohama Landmark Tower .
-
This is one of the few buildings in the world equipped with double-deck elevators.
-
Each elevator is designed with an aerodynamic body, pressurization and emergency braking systems, and the world's first triple-stage anti-overshooting system. The cost for each elevator is over $US 2 million.
-
Exterior construction elevators and the construction elevator shaft were fully disassembled in late February of 2004.
-
The Taiwan Stock Exchange rents 7 floors in the building.
-
Inside the base of the tower is the large Taipei 101 Mall, which opened before the tower on November 13th, 2003.
